Follow up to "Hopping Mad"

I just got a call from Jayme at Priority Health.  She was able to track down the SNAFU and is getting St. Mary's Hospital paid and getting them to call the collection agency off the case.  She apologized on behalf of the insurance company for the hassle and they are looking into how it went wrong.

Whew!  My anger is now diffused and I am once again able to feel good about the care I have received and grateful that I am lucky enough to be covered under insurance.  I wish there was universal healthcare so everyone could avoid the stress and powerless feelings.

Universal health care - why is that considered "socialism" by so many? Glad you can rest assured the bill is paid and so very glad you feel like YOU most of the time. Know of my prayers and my concern for you. I just did my 50th Focus on Issues and have you to thank for approving that show. This time we dealt with Taking Lung Cancer Out of the Shadows. Had 2 survivors plus someone from ACS.

Hey Chuck,
So glad to hear you are feeling better and that your appetite has returned. Sorry to hear about the fiasco with insurance, St. Mary's and the collection agency. Don't need that stress, that's for sure. We too, have Priority and have experienced their unfailing helpfulness in resolving snafus.
